On Friday, May 25 we went to the Port Hardy Public Works Yard. They had an open house so we went to visit. All of the children had a wonderful time. We all drove the backhoe, climbed the giant sand pile and sprayed the fire hose!

What a great experience to drive a back hoe and all those big trucks and tractors. That looks like so much fun. It looks incredible to be inside such big machines. Did you get to see how the big machines worked? Did they have many joints, cogs or wheels?

Cool,those sandhills look fun, there like indoor sandunes. Were you actually driving those diggers? (not the children, obviasly)
The students got to use the bucket of the backhoe- it was very exciting for them!
