Did your baby chicks hatch today? What color are they?
I lived on a farm and we had many hens and baby chickens.
Once, a mother hen hid her eggs in the bushes and then one day she appeared with all of her babies. They were sooooo cute. Another time, we put a regular size egg under a bantum hen (a very small hen) and when it hatched the chicken was larger that her babies. Eventually, the chicken grew bigger than her mother, and it looked funny to see the little mother hen with five little chickens and one as big as she was walking around the barn yard.
