Today in class we Skyped to a Grade 1 class in Newfoundland. We found that we have several things in common with students on the other side of the country.

Things that we have in common are;
We both have playgrounds.
We both have slides on our playground.
We both live on an island, but it takes a much longer ferry ride to get off their island.
It rains a lot in both places in the winter.
They like red and blue and so do we.
They like bananas and so do we.
They are in Grade 1 and so are we.
We both like to play soccer.
We both speak English.
Some ways we are different are;
They live in a big city, we live in a small town.
They have 350 kids in their school and we have 150.
They have 17 students we have 24 students.
And we all like pizza and we both like to talk!!
