Dear Parents,
On Friday we will make Stone Soup. This soup will be made all the tastier because of how it will be made. We will each contribute from our home, sharing a little that we have to make something bigger and more valuable. Each year as students come together as class and a school they come together to make a learning community that supports and cares about each other.
As we worked toward the idea of making soup we are making a plan and stucking with it (one of our learning strategies). Please ask your child about the soup, if possible maybe make a Stone Soup with your family and friends this weekend. As your child about the recipe, they are the expert.
Your stone soup sounds delicious and heart warming.
I would love to know how it tasted and how you all felt contributing to the recipe.
