Skyping with Japan

Students in our class have a cousin who is teaching in Japan.  She was kind enough to Skype with us on Wednesday.  She had to stay up very late (1 am) to talk to us.  She answered our questions about life in Japan and then she shared her screen and shared pictures of her life in Japan.  Students were responsible to write about what they learned and I am amazed at the writing they produced!  It was a wonderful experience for all of us!

Thank you for sharing your skype session with Sophie in Japan. It was interesting looking at the pictures of Japan and thinking about the changing seasons that we experience here in Canada at the same time as people do in Japan. Sophie must be a night owl because she didn't look too tired in those pictures and it was past midnight. Who will you skype with next?
